- Took
- 4 sessions
- Came with
- Eleven years, one bad spring
- Decided
- March 2025
- Since
- Still gone, no regrets logged
She had written the letter three times over two winters and never sent it, which told us the decision was already made and only the leaving was unfinished. We spent the first session on what she thought she would lose, and it turned out to be one colleague and a view of the harbor, not the work. The second and third were spent writing down what would have to be true in the twelve months after. She gave notice in March, on a Tuesday, and told me afterward that the hardest part had been the Monday.
